I HAVE TRIED TO RECRUIT FRIENDS TO GIVE ME THEIR CONTACTS AND I HAVE PERSONALLY MARKETED SOME CAR OWNERS. BUT THE RESPONSE HAS NOT BEEN ENCOURAGING. POTENTIAL CLIENTS ARE SKEPTICAL

About my venture

AS AN INSURANCE AGENT, I KNOW VEHICLE OWNERS ARE REQUIRED TO RENEW THEIR PAPERS ANNUALLY. I THOUGHT ABOUT ADDING CONVENIENCE TO THIS TASK BY BEING ABLE TO PROVIDE BRIDGING FINANCE FOR CUSTOMERS OR HELPING THEM TO RENEW ON DUE DATE. THUS, I WILL NEED TO SOLICIT AND OBTAIN A POOL OF CAR OWNERS AND WAIT TILL RENEWAL TIME. SINCE I KNOW THE FIXED COST OF RENEWALS, I HAVE TO CHARGE ABOV E THAT TO EARN A PROFIT. BUT HOW MUCH ABOVE AND WHAT MARGIN SHOULD M Y PROFIT BE?
