What I need help with
My background as an entrepreneur
My current challenges
My current challenges are: Getting started, Getting approval, NAFDAC, Getting customers for my products, Getting help( workers) Marketing Book keeping Getting mentorship.
Actions I’ve taken so far
I have registered the business name with CAC. I have started acquiring a few equipment and tools. I have made and sold some loaves and other products to friends, neighbours, colleagues, etc and sampled their opinion. I have informed a couple of shops about my product. I have participated in trainings and have visited some good bakeries to learn some things about baking, especially commercial bread making. I am trying to get a place ready for possible take off.
My future goals
To have my products in every shop in and around Plateau State. To have customers go on the look out for my products to buy. To grow from a small scale bakery to big modern bakery with very high demand. To satisfy the need of customers.
My motivations to work with a mentor
This venture is not one I trained formerly for, just one that I have talent and passion for. I just retired from teaching which is different from bakingand business, therefore, I recognise the need for training and mentoring without which the business may not succeed.
About my venture
Spreenkuls Started 2021
I love baking, creating something concrete out of a combination of different things. I love to place smiles on the faces of people by giving them value for money, hence my choice of taking to baking after retirement from teaching. I have created a unique recipe which I have been told to be worth putting on shelves. Already, I am confident of a good sale ones I am sure of how to go about it all. I am ready to start fully as soon as the approval is given after we meet the necessary requirements.
