My background as an entrepreneur
My current challenges
This has been a foggy concept/idea for years. I can't quite articulate my idea in full yet, not even like I see it in my minds eye, nor see how this can be made into a business model (ex: that leans towards conservation more than design.)
Actions I’ve taken so far
I've built a website which holds my ideals and a place to blog - to journal through thoughts in order to hopefully figure out how to turn this idea into a business that I'm proud of and checks all the boxes.
My future goals
Immerse myself in the right communities, get to know the right people to collaborate with. Build a business plan so there is clear direction and I have confidence that I'm working towards goals which are on an actual path with milestones.
My motivations to work with a mentor
I don't want to live with regret, never taking this idea through its growing pains, and to give my actual dream career a real go.
About my venture
Wildl(i)feel at Home
'I design homes in such a way that allows wildlife to keep theirs, too.'
Wildlife conservation meets home design. Primary goal is to fight natural habitat loss by improving the design/build industry, offering alternative methods.
Doing so by teaching, thought leadership, connecting the dots between how we live and how wildlife lives, the impact we make and how it changes if we shift. Giving power to clients, empowering animals and the home we all share - Mother Earth.
'One home no longer needs to be sacrificed for the other to exist.'
I want my venture to lead with my chosen purpose towards wildlife conservation as the main objective and whats felt most, and I do this work through my personal passion and expertise in home design. 'Home' is what ties them together.
