Actions I’ve taken so far
I've moved away from my personal brand to a company brand, the website is in development. At the beginning of the year, I had a contract with a large nationally known organization that went very well, and currently have a high-profile government contract.
My future goals
to automate administrative systems as much as possible, to have a solid and effective marketing strategy (and automate inbound leads), to have an effective business development plan, to improve my sales strategies, to acquire more corporate and government contracts, to hire additional team members, and increase my profile within my consulting space.
My motivations to work with a mentor
I am a very strong believer in mentorship and do my best to offer myself as a mentor as much as possible. It's time for me to be on the other side of this relationship and learn from some of the many brilliant people In the world. I'm also interested in making personal connections and developing relationships with people who share similar interests.
About my venture
I have a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion training and consulting Firm. I have worked with medium to large organizations on the strength of my reputation and word of mouth. I want to get more organized and proactive in sales, marketing, and strategy. I am very knowledgeable in my consulting area, but not so much in these business areas. I am also looking to transition from being a direct service provider to hiring other people to do that while I focus on the administrative tasks of sales, marketing, strategy, and such.
