What I need help with

My background as an entrepreneur

My current challenges

I've signed a couple clients simply off of referrals and word of mouth. I need help establishing my brand to start actively marketing my services. I also need help with pricing my services and developing my sales playbook. And I want to get a set of legal agreement templates to use with customers and potential partners or advisors. Last, I need a website and want guidance on the best design for my target market.

Actions I’ve taken so far

I've written a business plan and taken a handful of webinars. I've mocked up a logo and some of the qualities I want my brand to convey. I've done market research both for viability as well as pricing structures used by similar consultants. I have legal agreements from previous engagements to model after.

My future goals

I would like to build my business into a boutique business consultancy with $500K in ARR and added another consultant and an administrator. I am planning to develop materials for a few passive revenue streams to support growth and provide lower cost options for my clients.

My motivations to work with a mentor

I want someone with more experience in building successful small businesses. While I have a great deal of experience setting up internal operations (legal, financial, human resources, etc.), I only have tangential experience with market facing operations (business development, sales, marketing, etc.). A mentor will give me someone to bounce ideas off of, particularly regarding branding and pricing, while building my knowledge and confidence. I also want a second set of eyes to make sure I am effectively mitigating risk and am protecting my business.
