When searching for mentors, you may see “speech bubble” icons on the mentors’ profiles. These indicators help you to see how active this mentor has been. More mentors, naturally, have more speech bubbles. A mentor can pump up their recent activity by making offers to entrepreneurs. A mentor, however, doesn’t keep his recent activity indicators forever – any activity that occurred more than a year ago doesn’t count.
When an entrepreneur wants to recommend a mentor to the rest of the MicroMentor community, the mentor receives an “endorsement check-mark” on their profile. This lets other entrepreneurs know that this mentor’s quality has been vouched for by other entrepreneurs.
