My background as an entrepreneur
My current challenges
My major challenge is sourcing for fund to start up the business. Of recent, I've registered the business with Cooperate affairs commission (CAC), we have also open a bank account for the business, done a survey and have contacted suppliers of quality piglets and young rabbits. We have also identified some existing farms that meet the size and standard of what we intend to do and are willing to lease to us for a reasonable years at an affordable price. Our current challenge is funding
Actions I’ve taken so far
Registration of business with Cooperate affairs commission (CAC), opening of a business bank account, designed a business plan, done a survey to identify suppliers and competitors, identified an existing farms that are willing to lease out at an affordable price, started saving money to start the business.
My future goals
To become the biggest livestock farm in Nigeria that produces and supply quality, fresh and affordable meat on a sustainable basis. And also to create an opportunity for employment for the unemployed and invariably earn a living from it.
My motivations to work with a mentor
I believe no body is an island, and a mentor is someone who has passed through series of good and bad days. Leaning on his/her shoulder will help me avoid so many expensive mistakes
About my venture

My venture is to raise livestock precisely pigs and rabbits along side an abattoir where we will deliver fresh meat to our teaming customers on daily basis. We also intend to raise exotic dog for business and security of our farm premises. It is not news that the demand for puppies in Jos is very high as people come all the way from Ghana, Cote dvoir and other African countries.
