How I can help

My professional background

During the last two years, I’ve continued my human resources career building an HR department for a small, rapidly growing private company. The organization had a need for all Human Resources aspects, including implementation of HRIS software, written safety program and compensation, multiple benefits administration, employee relations, and implementation of a FMLA/LOA program. It was an exciting challenge to build employee relationships and cultivate trust while meeting payroll deadlines and ensuring compliance with federal/state laws in a high-pressure, fast-changing environment.

Human resources should exist to serve an organization’s most valuable asset: the employees. In my previous tenue serving in leadership position, my dedication to fostering egalitarian relationships built on respect, transparency and compassion was crucial to the organization’s success. My personal and professional drive is to make life and employment better for each employee on the team

What I can offer

As a small business grows, the need for a HR department may evolve rapidly. Most of my career has been helping various companies grow from a small (about 50 employees) to a midsize (100-300) organization. I have knowledge in nearly all things HR: compliance, payroll, benefits, employee relations, organizational development, policies, investigations, FMLA, OSHA, Workers comp.
