What I need help with

My background as an entrepreneur

My current challenges

Hi, I am trying to restart my poetry art business. I am learning to put my drawings on merchandise (tote bags) at home so I can earn more profits. I've had some success selling on Amazon Handmade. I tried Etsy in the past, but I closed the store because it was hard for people to find me after 4 months.

Actions I’ve taken so far

Post my drawings and poetry on Instagram, learning to put my artwork at on merchandises.

My future goals

I want to inspire people with my poetry and drawings. I want to show people that having ADHD and dyslexia is not bad.

My motivations to work with a mentor

I need to make more connections on how and where to sell.

About my venture

A Gift from the Sky Started 2019

"Whispering Wings" combines my hand drawn art and short poetic verses into greeting cards. Whenever there's a special occasion, I always find myself spending a long time at the greeting card store because the cards seem to be boring and lack uniqueness. The messages in the cards are either too short and simple or too long without much depth. Sometimes, I have to force myself to buy a card that I'm not happy with or visit other stores. This gives me the idea to create my own cards with my artwork and poetry. The poetry is short but full of images. People can also personalize the cards. I didn't put them in categories because poetry is subjective and I want customers to have the freedom to decide. I am currently selling the cards on my site, amazon handmade and etsy. I hope my greeting cards can help people communicate and brightening up someone's day with heartfelt messages.
