What I need help with

My background as an entrepreneur

My current challenges

Since 12/2018, I have moved 3 times for the location, the first time was because I realized I may need a full-time office but the landlord did not have any at that time. The second and third time were both trying subleasing, but because Landlord could not keep their word about the lease, so eventually not working. It has been 3 months, and I still not really settle with a location where I can see my patients. I found a medical building, and it seems in a good location. However, I would love to hear what my mentor think about the location, and what should I pay attention when leasing with landloard. I heard some complain from other doctors in that building about landlord. I like to discuss with my mentor and see even if the location is good, is it worth to deal with a potential "hard" landlord? And also, if this location is not a good choice, how can I choose a good location in a certain time?

About my venture

Love Family Practice Started 2018

I am a family nurse practitioner. From past working experience, I earned the confidence that I can offer a great care to my patients independently. And also I would love to have more control about what I am doing and balance of work and life to be a good mother of three little boys. Therefore, I started my own practice at the end of 2018. So far, the legal entity was set up, all licenses and permits already done, applied credentialing with medicare and private payers, passed medicare, signed contract with CareFirst BCBS, finished credentialing with UnitedHealthcare and waiting for contract, and asked contract from Aetna as well. My goal for next 12 months are : (1) settle my business at a good location, (2) try to get my first 10 patients in the first month after location settled, and at least 5 more patient's every month, (3) break even around 6 months to 12 months. My goal for next 24 months are: (1) let business run smoothly, be profitable.
