Since your design work seems to be focused on women, I would target women owned businesses in the United States; especially those that are into fashion. Certain women related businesses have a real need for branding (such as fashion). Based on looking at your website, this appears to be your sweet spot. See if you can come up with a lead generation list of these women / fashion related businesses and approach them directly about what you can do to improve their branding. Don’t wait for the customer to find you – you should go directly to that target audience most likely to use your services.
It might also help to produce some blog related content, such as articles about what makes great design. People need to see that you have a lot of expertise in design and this requires informative content that the Google search engine is more likely to index. This is how people often find about you when searching on the internet; i.e. content marketing. Since you reside in Los Angeles, you should also network with women business groups, not to mention the LA fashion district. Once again, it’s about going directly to your target audience – not waiting around for them to find you. In my opinion, you need to be more direct and targeted if you want to acquire more clients.
