An empowering story! We often forget that a positive perspective helps us to be proactive and try our best whereas negativity drags us to inaction and a negative spiral. Thank you for the reminder!

Very fine story by Vibhas Sen. To your question, my counseling requests have increased by more than 40% since the arrival of COVID-19. I attribute this to the new web site version of MicroMentor rolled out last year with its extended reach, and to the transitions small businesses are making to social networking and the web, pivoting their enterprise approaches to meet conditions and seeking answers.

As I continue counseling individuals and small enterprises in the U.S. and many other countries that have monstrous impacts, I am amazed when I am working with clients that very few mention the pandemic or the economic straits. They simply wish to get the best possible input to further their dream of success. I believe most are blessed with an inherent optimism and it is refreshing to assist where I can.

The role of Digital has become a leader for sales and service sales since COVID. We are able to bring process improvements that simplify our customers experiences to market much quicker with the demand for Digital increasing. This has been great for both businesses and customers as we are able to meet and exceed our customers expectations of simplicity of experiences with this change. Also with the change to work from home, the team is happier and more productive.

Our business culture has changed for the better in my mind since the pandemic. There always used to be this stigma about working from home and that employees were not as productive when outside the office. We were forced to change that mentality and the best part was that it became evident quickly when we didn't miss a beat! Now that we're slowly going back to the office, I feel like it's very obvious that there are a lot of pros for working from home. In my opinion and from personal experience, you actually work more being remote. You can sleep in a little, you don't have to commute, and you can work later. If you need a mental break, you can always do some chores around the house or run an errand and then get back to work. Feel like the workforce is happier with remote work and the occasional meeting in person in the office. But definitely, the stigma about working from home is gone and productivity has only improved given the flexibility we now have.

Absolutely. For customers, we found that our services helped them adapt to work-at-home and and learn-from-home and kept them connected to family in friends when they couldn't go out. We had to adapt very quickly to touchless and find ways to engage customers that didn't involve them coming into stores - things we'll continue to leverage going forward, after COVID is endemic. For employees, we learned that we could indeed quickly pivot to work-at-home for many of the jobs, which has forever changed where and how we work.
