Do LLC Members Pay Estimated Taxes?

Are the members of an LLC required to pay estimated taxes or is the company responsible for witholding and paying Social Security and income taxes?

Only the end taxpayer will need to pay estimated taxes based on earnings (if necessary). Note that the LLC can pay the estimated quarterly taxes for their shareholders as distributions, it is best to have a detailed discussion with a tax advisor to decide the individual tax requirements.

As a former Oregonian myself, I can say that the state offers alot of assistance to their businesses. Check out these resources on the state website (which also contains contact info) and also see IRS.GOV and www.business.gov/states/oregon Your local gov't will give you correct info without the costs associated with tax advisors.
