Justice, your options for borrowing startup capital in African countries are family and friends. Getting a bank loan at 25-30% interest that requires land as collateral and start of immediate payback is not a realistic option. You have to manage loans carefully with a business plan and cash flow budget that demonstrate you can pay back your family and friends within the time period you've agreed upon. Good luck.

You can set up a website or blog for free using WordPress. Or you can leverage a third-party site like Amazon or eBay to sell goods with no inventory costs. You use their selling platform in exchange for giving them a cut of your sales. Also affiliate marketing is another "hand-off" types of online businesses you can start.

It's good to start a free site and do SEO to make your presence in Google. You can also start crypto trading with little investment if you could arrange it. I explored different cryptocurrency exchanges that offer different fees from its competitors from all sides, whether it boils down to the type of cryptocurrency you are trading notch is kraken vs binance and their respective withdrawal fees, transaction fees or even trading pairs between crypto and fiat currencies. Some crypto exchanges charge a flat fee on maker or taker fees while others would depend on their terms.

It depends a lot on your skills. Selling your high-quality photographs, designing logos, developing websites, or providing translation services if you are bilingual - all these can be a great online business that only requires appropriate skills and efforts to find clients. Another option is blogging. There are many blogging platforms where you can start a blog for free. Also, there are plenty of guides available on the internet that will give you an idea of where to start, for instance, this one https://ivypanda.com/blog/blogging-is-my-profession/. You can monetize your blog in different ways: provide coaching services, create online courses, publish sponsored content, try affiliate marketing.

So, Madueke, to start something with no capital you need to first figure out what you DO have! From there, you come up with a list of what ventures you could go into based on what you have. After that, you create a short list of possible ventures based on what you have knowledge about or what you think is the most interesting to you. Then, pick one from that short list and get going on it.
Example: You have a computer and knowledge. So, you could start writing about what you know and sell that information on the internet.
Some thoughts - write and sell content to websites, write stock reviews or stock picks and charge for those reviews/picks, document what is going on in Nigeria with a video blog and take donations to help people in Nigeria then post the results of those donations.
